Aspen Updates March 4, 2016
Thank you so much to all volunteers who helped with our last Reading Around the World Family Night. We had a wonderful turnout and students and family members had so much fun going from continent to continent. Thank you volunteers!
A very special thank you also goes out to Mrs. Liz Burda and Mrs. Erica Miller for chairing the Scholastic Book Fair, as well as to all the many volunteers that helped during the fair. We had a very successful fair and we certainly could not have done it without you!
The winner of the All For Books Scholastic fundraiser is Mrs. Whitfield’s 3rd grade class (Mrs. Niedbalski’s class). Congratulations! Their class will get a Frozen Treat Party soon!
Remember – there is no school on Monday, March 7. It is Casimir Pulaski Day. Enjoy your day off!
Tuesday, March 8, is the end of the second trimester. Report cards will be sent home on Friday, March 18.
The 6th Annual Hawthorn Art Show is being held at Cook Memorial Library – Aspen Drive location. The opening reception is on Thursday, March 10. You are invited to come and view some of our student’s masterpieces!
