Remind Text Messaging Alert System
Information regarding the Remind Text messaging alert system was sent home with all students today. Please be sure to review the information and sign up for text message alerts about Aspen School. Messages will include important reminders about events, deadlines, special activities at Aspen School. This is a voluntary sign up and your regular text messaging rates from your cell phone provider will apply.
Wear Blue on Monday, October 5th – Stomp Out Bullying
Aspen Elementary is participating in this nationwide cause to raise awareness. Please send your child to school on Monday, October 5, 2015 wearing a blue shirt to show solidarity in our anti bullying efforts. www.stompoutbullying.org
NO SCHOOL Friday, October 9th and Monday, October 12th
Please remember that there is no school on Friday, October 9th. On October 9th students will stay home for the Teacher Institute Day. Monday, October 12th is Columbus Day and is a non-attendance day for students and staff.
Read Around the World
Don’t forget to encourage your child to read every night. We are trying to reach our school goal of reading for 2,000,000 minutes by June of 2016. If each child reads roughly 20 minutes a night we will be able to reach our goal and open the MYSTERY BOX.
