Choice Time Volunteer Training

Dear Choice Volunteers,

We cannot thank you enough for the time and efforts you dedicate to working with our students during recess.

The activities provided during choice time have become increasingly popular and we have many students who would like to participate, including some of our students who suffer from severe food allergies. To help ensure the safety of all students we are inviting you to attend a 30 minute training session designed to assist individuals in recognizing the signs and symptoms of allergic reactions and administration of an Epi Pen. This training is not mandatory, but we wanted to extend each of you an invitation to participate.

The success of the school community depends on collaboration between our schools and families. The time and effort you dedicate to choice time with our students strengthens our school and provides unique opportunities for all of our students. Thank you for your continued support of this program.

If you wish to participate in the training program, please RSVP to Dawn Wallis, the school nurse at wallisd@hawthorn73.org

Training dates and times are as follows:

February 26th 9:00 am-9:30 am

February 29th 2:30 pm-3:00 pm
