Roller Skating

Beginning on Monday, February 9th, 2015 our Physical Education Classes at Aspen Elementary School will be involved in an in-house Inline Skating program. Lifetime Sports, a company endorsed by Roller Blade Inc. , will coordinate the program.  Our goals is to make this an instructional and fitness oriented unit covering the following areas:

Providing a lifetime activity          Skating for Fitness      Stopping     Cooperation
Proper protective equipment       Striding                        Turning       Forward Skating
Balance and ready position         Rules of the road         Fun            Backward Skating

Days: Feb. 9th-27th (Each class will roughly have 2 weeks of skating)
Grades: 2nd-5th
Times: 8:00-8:40 4th grade
8:40-9:20 2nd grade
10:00-10:40 5th grade
12:00-12:40 3rd grade
Fee: $7.00

Monday (2/23) through Thursday (2/26)     **No Students on Friday (2/27)**Dahm and O’Connor’s Classes in the Gym for Skating (Carlsen’s Classes in the Multi)
